AI visibility: check content and improve it in a targeted way.

Technical foundations and understandable content for search with AI.

We examine how selected AI search offerings present your organisation and which sources they refer to. You receive a documented overview of the examined state and of technical or content gaps on your website.

Building on this, we improve the agreed foundations: accessible content, unambiguous information and a clear structure. We observe whether and how the presentation changes using selected questions. We cannot promise a specific mention or placement.

Starting point

New paths to your content.

Anyone looking for a service or asking a professional question no longer uses only classic search results. Offerings such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI functions can also play a role.

For your website, an additional question therefore arises: Can these systems find your content and classify your organisation correctly? This is not only about a mention, but also about which information about your offering appears and which sources the answer is based on.

We discuss with you whether you want to release your content for certain uses. We distinguish between access for search functions and use for training AI models.

Our approach

Capture the starting point. Tackle improvements in a targeted way.

AI visibility cannot be booked in a targeted way like an ad placement or reliably promised. Which sources appear depends, among other things, on the question, the system used and the available information.

That is why we first record how your organisation is presented for selected questions. We then check technical and content improvements and repeat the queries under conditions that are as comparable as possible.

The comparison shows developments, but no clear proof of cause and effect. We therefore distinguish between observed changes and possible explanations.

What we check and improve for this.

Many foundations overlap with technical SEO and good content work. Added to this are the different access rules of the AI providers and the observation of their answers.

We check which content search engines and relevant AI services can retrieve. Together we define which access is desired and which should be restricted. We distinguish between search, training and other types of retrieval.

Does your website describe understandably what you offer, whom you work for and what experience you bring? We check the existing content and name places where concrete answers, examples or verifiable information are missing.

We mark up suitable information about your organisation and your content in a machine-readable way. The information must match the visible page content. Such markup supports technical classification, but does not guarantee a mention.

Central information should be easy to find on the website and technically retrievable. We check, for example, whether essential information is only contained in downloads, images or hard-to-access page elements and would also make sense as page text.

We agree a fixed core set of relevant questions and check it repeatedly in selected systems. We document the conditions of the queries as well as mentions, source references and the presentation of your organisation.

You receive a clear assessment: Where does your organisation appear, is the information correct and which other sources are used? From this we derive which further steps make sense.

Collaboration

From the assessment to re-checking.

Four steps that can be repeated.

Clarify the starting point

We discuss your target groups and the questions for which your website is relevant as a source of information. We then check the existing content, technical accessibility and existing permissions.

Document the reference state

Using the agreed questions, we record how selected systems currently present your organisation. We also record which sources are cited.

Implement improvements

We implement the agreed technical adjustments and agree necessary changes to the content with you. We clarify scope and responsibilities in advance.

Observe the development

After an agreed period, we repeat the check. Together we classify changes and decide whether further measures make sense.

The result

A clear basis for further decisions.

You receive a documented overview of how your organisation appears for the examined questions and where technical or content gaps exist. At the same time, the agreed improvements create a better basis for the findability and comprehensibility of your website.

This can be built on: with targeted additions, further checks or regular observation. Which form makes sense depends on your goals and the agreed scope.

Own experience

Our website is part of it too.

On our own website, too, we deal with technical accessibility, structured information and the presentation of our services in AI answers. We check which approaches can be implemented traceably and where reliable experience is still lacking.

This work feeds into our consulting. However, it does not replace the individual check of your website and your requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about visibility in AI answers.

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. The term describes measures aimed at making content easier to find and use for generative search and answer systems. We speak of AI visibility because this term describes the concern more understandably. The terms and methods are not yet uniformly established.

The foundations overlap strongly: technically accessible pages, a clear structure and helpful content. With AI visibility, we additionally look at how selected answer systems present your organisation and which sources they use. This complements search engine optimisation, but does not replace it.

Certain access can be restricted via the settings and crawler rules provided for this. A distinction must be made between search functions, training and other types of retrieval. However, a block does not automatically prevent your organisation from being mentioned on the basis of other sources. The robots.txt is also not access protection for confidential content.

An llms.txt is intended to compile selected website content for use by language models. A reliable benefit for being mentioned in AI answers has not yet been proven. We therefore treat it at most as an experimental addition and not as a prerequisite or central optimisation measure.

We agree a fixed core set of questions that are relevant for your target groups and check them repeatedly in selected systems. We document, among other things, time, system and search mode as well as the answers and sources. This creates a comparable sample. It is a snapshot and does not reflect all questions or usage situations.

There is no reliable period for this. Systems access information differently, and answers can fluctuate even without changes to your website. We agree the time of a re-check to suit the measures implemented. It may also turn out that no recognisable change has occurred at first.

No. We can improve the agreed technical and content requirements and document the results. Whether a system names or links your website in a particular answer is not within our control.
