TYPO3 training for your editorial team.

On your website. With the tasks from your everyday work.

In our TYPO3 editor training, we show your team how to maintain content and make sensible use of the existing functions. We align topics and exercises with your website, the tasks of the participants and their prior knowledge.

The training lasts two to four hours and takes place online or on site at your premises. Up to ten people can take part. Exercises take place in a test environment of your website that we set up for the training.

Starting point

When tasks and the editorial team change.

New colleagues join, functions are added or certain work steps only occur rarely. In everyday work, there is not always time to become familiar with all the possibilities of your own website.

A training session offers space to clarify questions and practise processes together: How is a new page created? Which content element fits? How are images, translations or approvals maintained? We concentrate on the topics your team actually needs.

Our stance

Oriented to the tasks of your editorial team.

We combine the basics of TYPO3 with practical exercises on your website. We explain not only individual click sequences, but also the relationships between pages, content and files.

Questions from your everyday work are part of it. Together we look at which processes make sense for your editorial team and what your installation provides for them.

Possible content of your training.

We agree in advance which topics we cover and in how much detail. Not every session covers all areas. What matters are your tasks, the available functions and the prior knowledge of the participants.

How TYPO3 organises pages, content and files and how these areas are related. We explain the functions and terms that are important for your daily work.

Creating, moving and hiding pages, editing page properties and understanding the effects on navigation.

Selecting suitable content elements, formatting texts, setting links and publishing content. Depending on the website, articles, dates or translations are also included. We also explain what clear headings and page titles do for orientation and findability.

Uploading, organising and reusing files. This includes suitable image sizes, image crops and meaningful alternative texts.

As far as your website and your permissions allow, we show how to maintain form fields, recipients and confirmations. We discuss the data protection and accessibility notes relevant to this work.

For people with corresponding tasks and permissions: understanding and operating user management, roles and existing approval processes.

Collaboration

How your training works.

From preparation to follow-up questions: we align the training with your team and your website.

Clarify needs

We discuss who is taking part, what prior knowledge exists and which tasks come up in everyday work. From this we put together the topics and the time frame. You then receive a fixed-price quote.

Preparation

We look at your installation, set up a test environment and prepare suitable exercises. This way your team works with the content elements and functions of its own website.

Practise together

In two to four hours, we explain and practise the agreed tasks – online or on site at your premises, with up to ten people. Questions and examples from your daily work are part of it.

Clarify follow-up questions

If questions about the topics covered arise during subsequent work, we help by phone or e-mail at no additional charge in the first weeks after the training. We agree new training topics or technical changes separately.

The result

More confidence in everyday editorial work.

The training is intended to help your team understand its own website better and carry out recurring tasks independently. Joint exercises help to maintain content consistently and to use existing functions in a targeted way.

A training session can also create a shared basis for new employees or after changes to the system.

From practice

Websites with different editorial tasks.

In these projects, we support websites with different content maintenance requirements. This experience helps us to align training with concrete tasks as well.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about TYPO3 training.

Yes. We look at the functions and editorial processes of your website in advance. This allows us to prepare the training appropriately. If technical limitations make certain tasks more difficult, we address them and separate them from the training needs. A training session can also help to get to know changed processes after a TYPO3 upgrade.

Up to ten people can take part in one session. For larger teams or different tasks and prior knowledge, we agree suitable groups and separate sessions with you.

A training session lasts two to four hours. We define the exact time frame on the basis of the selected topics and the prior knowledge of your team. Further sessions can be arranged for additional or in-depth topics.

Both are possible. We hold the training online or on site at your premises. We agree the format to suit your team and the planned exercises.

Yes. Setting up a test environment of your website is part of the training. There your team can practise the agreed tasks without changing the published content. We clarify the required access and technical prerequisites in advance; this also includes active forms and external connections, so that exercises do not trigger unintended processes.

You receive a fixed-price quote in advance. It depends on duration, topics and preparation effort. Setting up the test environment and follow-up questions about the training content in the first weeks are part of the agreed quote. For on-site sessions, we also take travel effort into account.

You do not need any prior TYPO3 knowledge for an introduction. For in-depth topics, we agree in advance which experience is helpful. For practical exercises, participants need suitable devices and access to the prepared test environment. For online sessions, a stable internet connection and the possibility to take part in the joint conversation are added. We clarify the details before the session.

Which tasks would you like to practise with your team?

Briefly tell us which website you look after, how many people would like to take part and which topics are important to you. We suggest suitable content and a time frame and prepare a fixed-price quote for you.
