Our new website is online

New appearance, clearer content and our own search: this is what has changed on our website.

Our new website is online. We have revised our website in terms of design, content and technology. We wanted to show more clearly who we are, how we work and with which tasks we support our clients.

For our own website, we asked ourselves the same questions as in client projects: Which information is important? How can it be organised understandably? And what helps visitors to assess our offering?

A new appearance

With the relaunch, we also renewed our appearance. A new logo, clear colours and the compact abbreviation HMH characterise the website. Behind it is still Hanseatic Media Harbour GmbH.

We also want to make our collaboration more tangible on the website: with insights into how we work and the people behind the projects.

Services and projects explained more understandably

Our services are divided into six areas. There we describe which tasks we take on and how we proceed with different requirements.

We have prepared the project descriptions in more detail. They show the starting point, our respective contribution and the results. This makes it easier to see whether we have experience with a similar task.

In the insights, we share experience from our work and put current developments in context. You can find the articles that interest you via the topic filters.

Technically, the website is based on TYPO3 13. Reusable content building blocks help us to add new pages and continue the website consistently.

Our own search for your questions

Also new is our self-developed search function. You can ask questions in your own words. The search finds suitable content and compiles an answer from it with references to the pages used – literally from our texts, selected by an AI.

For selected frequently asked questions, we have stored fixed answers. In the output, you can see whether an answer was formulated by us or selected from our texts by AI.

How we implemented search and chat, which limits we set and what we learned in the process is described in the article AI search and chat on our website.

What we learned about our own content

Working on the search helped us to check our texts more closely. Some information was available but did not yet sufficiently answer a concrete question. In other places, important information was missing or statements did not fit together clearly.

That is why we revised numerous pages: described services more precisely, explained relationships and named the limits of our offerings more clearly.

We also take this experience into client projects. Understandable and up-to-date content helps people find their way – and gives an AI-supported search a better basis for its answers.

Feel free to have a look around

We are pleased if you discover our new website and try out the search. If information is missing or an answer does not fit, please let us know. You can leave feedback directly below the search answers.

We continue to develop content and functions after the relaunch. Your feedback helps us with this.
