Preparing the programme together
The Long Night of Museums Hamburg brings together exhibitions, guided tours, workshops and other events in one evening. It is organised by Museumsdienst Hamburg. Since 2023, we have been supporting the website technically and developing it further together.
For the 2026 edition, the participating venues update their events, opening hours, images and other information via their own protected access. Museumsdienst coordinates and checks the content. We accompany the preparation on the technical side.
One data set for website and print
Until the event, times may change, offers may be added or information supplemented. Central data maintenance makes it easier to take these changes into account in the various places on the website.
Programme overviews, filters and detail pages draw on the same information. The data set also forms the basis for preparing the printed programme. The information does not have to be completely re-entered for this.
Planning your own museum night
Guests can save museums and events in a personal selection and download a night plan as a PDF from it. Registration is not required for this. The interactive map helps with orientation between the locations and shows connections for further planning.
These existing functions support guests both in advance and on the go. We continue the technical support and further development of the platform beyond the event.
