VARIUS IT places IT professionals in projects and fills interim mandates. The website is aimed at companies, freelance consultants and people looking for permanent employment. An important component is the project and job exchange with offers from the company's specialist system.
Rebuild on TYPO3 13
At the time of the takeover, the website ran on TYPO3 7. For the modernisation, we decided on a technical rebuild: templates, content elements and the connection to the specialist system were reimplemented on TYPO3 13.
The existing content, images and page structures could be retained. This way, visitors continue to find the familiar paths through the website. For the editorial team, we set up reusable content building blocks with which they can edit texts and images and add pages.
Projects and job offers from one source
The offers continue to be maintained in the VARIUS IT specialist system. Our newly developed connection retrieves the required information directly there and provides it on the German and English website.
Additional maintenance of the offers in TYPO3 is not required. Changes in the specialist system are taken into account at the next successful retrieval.
Ongoing support after the start
With the move to our hosting environment, we also took over the operation of the website. The project code is versioned; we first develop and test changes in a separate test environment before they are published.
This completes the rebuild; technical support and further development continue.
